This is an original signed collagraphic print from a handmade relief plate, made of folded paperboard, that was inked and run through a printing press. Edition number 2 is matted with archival mat and framed in a white frame, size is 21” x 17.” Edition number 3 is matted with archival mat and framed in a black frame, size is 21” x 17.” Edition #s 4 & 5 are signed and matted only, 20” X 16”. This piece is part of a series of prints of folded paper which are based on origami-related folds that I once used for covert note-passing back in middle/high school. The prints are made at various stages of opening or unfolding, to focus on the architectural lines and shapes that they create.
