This is an original, signed collagraphic embossing and intaglio print made from 2 handmade plates, one of cut wood board and one Plexiglass that was painted with carborundum and later drypoint etched, that was carefully inked and run through a vintage printing press. This is edition number 5/5. It is float-matted with acid free materials and framed in a black frame; size is 29” x 23.” This limited series was initially created for a special partnership/ fundraiser with Tennessee River Gorge Trust (TGRT) , sponsored by Townsend Atelier. The form was inspired by a photograph that I took of some beautiful interwoven vines on Williams Island, which is situated on the Tennessee River, in Chattanooga, TN.
