Hyacinth
This print was from a monotype experiment in which I created a small run of 5 prints very similar prints that each have slight variances, still deeming them one-of-a-kind. This print was made using acrylic paint, in varying layers and sections, with reusable “Gel” plates and printed by hand, on archival paper. In addition to the monotype layers, two individual hand-carved linoleum blocks were also used for the detailed parts of the flowers. It is signed and matted with acid-free/archival materials and framed in a white frame. The framed size is 21” x17.”
